Sherman F. Williams, age 75, of Clovis, NM died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Pallbearers include Stanley Williams, Patrick Williams, Allen Kelley, and Cecil Nolen. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Sherm was born May 29, 1933 to Edward Floye "Bud" and Ruby Maude (McFarland) Williams in Logan, NM. He married Jayne Simmons on May 29, 1955 in Albuquerque, NM. He served as a fighter pilot in the US Air Force. In 1972 he bought Pawol Pharmacy until 1989 when he sold to Bruce Gray of Roden Smith and continued working for them until 1991. Since that time he has worked as a Pharmacist at the Walmart Pharmacy. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He enjoyed target practice and traveling in their motor home.

Survivors include, his wife Jayne of the home; two sons, Jamie Fred Williams of Watkensville, GA and Michael Clay Williams of Lawrenceville, PA; grandson, Tanner Isaac Williams of Watkensville, GA; and brother, Stanley (Bettye) Williams of Clovis, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Maude Williams.
